Main Responsibilities:

• Serve the team and product owner by turning requirements into working software.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to ensure that they are working collaboratively and efficiently.
• Create user stories, validate acceptance criteria, and execute a portion of the testing on projects.
• Track progress and help the team achieve their commitments.
• Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
• Collaborate with the team in scheduling work, including defect remediation and refactoring, and guard against the accumulation of technical debt.
• Remove impediments to allow the team to focus on engineering tasks and take the lead in resolving conflicts within the team.
• Guide project team meetings including sprint pre/planning meetings, daily scrum, and sprint review meetings.
• Minimize external distractions and interruptions to the team.
• Manage each phase of the development life cycle and ensure that all tasks/objectives in each phase are met.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Degree or equivalent in a business or IT related discipline or equivalent professional experience in a software development environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a Scrum Manager/Servant leadership role in a software development environment
• Curious, Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills and ready to work in a fast-paced environment
• Agile certification (e.g. Certified Scrum Master) is preferred
• Good knowledge in JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent time management skills. You're able to pivot quickly from one contextual focus to another easily.
• Experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Tester, or both will be ideal.
• Embrace feedback loops, and encourage those around you to do the same. Someone who prides themselves on delivering truths whilst caring personally about improvements needed.
