Workday HCM Consultant

 Job Description:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engaging in the process to gather information about project including background and broader context of HCM
  • Facilitating project process walkthroughs to understand business processes and alignment with solution functionality;
  • Providing support to the interface workstream to understand business scenarios and integration between the solution and other applications;
  • Supporting testing, training and change management workstreams.
  • Conduct working sessions with large, understand, and analyse their business requirements
  • Understand Singapore regulatory and statutory requirements and how these can be met with Workday
  • Design and implement requirements in the Workday HCM solution
  • Configure the Workday solution to meet the needs of business requirement
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business process decisions related to industry and/or functional areas

Responsibilities for candidates with relevant team leadership experience may also include:

  • Providing approach to perform future design sessions.
  • Preparing project documentations, for example: functional design document, configuration document.
  • Performing unit testing and monitoring of user test.
  • Supporting customer in Production stage
  • Becoming an expert in the Workday product suite, specialising and deepening your skill set within the aligned domain

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certification in Workday HCM
  • (Additional certifications like Compensation or Benefits will be a bonus)
  • Hands on experience of Workday and HR transformation, including HR process design, HR technology solutions and configuration in Workday
  • At least two full cycle (end-to-end) Workday HCM deployments
  • At least 2 years experience with Workday HCM implementations
  • At least 4 years experience in business processes including analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Good understanding of HR and industry specific business processes.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
