Workday Financial Consultant

 Job Description:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engaging in the process to gather information about project including background and broader context of Financials
  • Planning, leading, and facilitating architecture workshops for complex areas of the Workday product such as business processes, organization structures, workflows, etc
  • Expertise in business process configuration, building validation/condition rules, setting up notifications
  • Working in collaboration with Integrations and Data Conversion effort required to implement/ support Workday Solution
  • Knowledge of Workday Security and Reporting
  • Responsible for delivering allocated work in all stages of the Workday deployment project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through to configuration, testing, go-live and post-production support.

These activities will include but not limited to:

  • Conducting session to analyze business functional area.
  • Providing approach to perform future design sessions.
  • Preparing project documentations, for example: functional design document, configuration document.
  • Performing unit testing and monitoring of user test.
  • Supporting customer in Production stage
  • Becoming an expert in the Workday product suite, specializing and deepening your skill set within the aligned domain
  • Demonstrating the ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision
  • Working in collaboration with Integrations and Data Conversion effort required to implement Workday Solution

Qualifications & Experience

  • You have at least 5 years of experience of implementing or administering FINS systems
  • Workday Financials Certification is a must
  • You have good working Knowledge on Custom fields, custom reports & calculated fields
  • You have knowledge of translating business requirements into system requirements
  • You retain a strong understanding of Financials and Expense processes with an aptitude for systems
  • Active participation in WD community will be added advantage
  • You have excellent communication, workshop facilitation and presentation skills
  • You can recognize business process inefficiencies and recommends improvements
