Customer Support Specialist

The Responsibilities:

  • Enter and process all incoming orders – emails, phone calls, web portal and EDI
  • Respond to all customer queries in a timely and accurate way
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits established
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information
  • Understands products and services and can answer general customer inquiries via phone call and email
  • High level of satisfaction around creating an exceptional customer experience
  • Coordinate activities and processes with various service providers including internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate order management activities between internal partner to include; supply planning, distribution, finance, and marketing.
  • Independently identify, troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and work with business specialty areas to design and implement.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5+ years in a Customer Service related role
  • Experience with MS Excel, Salesforce and ERP experience (SAP experience is preferred)
  • A committed individual and a good team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
