Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities for accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through diligent journal entry management.
  • Prepare and execute journal entries encompassing budget accrual estimations, prepayment allocations, adjustments, and reclassifications.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations to uphold data accuracy, promptly identifying and addressing any discrepancies, unreconciled items, or aged entries.
  • Record acquisitions and disposals of fixed assets in the accounting system, while also calculating depreciation for all such assets.
  • Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of fixed assets.
  • Generate and deliver punctual monthly and annual management reports, including facilitating the yearly audit and submitting tax-related documentation during annual closing.
  • Oversee Treasury functions, covering banking activities, cash flow management, maintenance of the cash book, and conducting monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Provide comprehensive support and attend to service requests from the global business network.
  • Maintain a complete set of financial accounts in strict adherence to applicable accounting standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of professional working experience under accounting and finance function handling end-to-end GL/RTR/Full set of account. 
  • Prior working experience with Oracle system will be an added advantage. 
  • Meticulous -  Ensure accurate data entry, precise reconciliation, and thorough documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Well-versed with accounting regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Open to work in office (on-site) based in Subang/Shah Alam area.
