Our client is a fast-growing privacy and data-removal company helping organizations protect executives, employees, and high-risk teams from exposed personal information online.
Their platform scans the open web for personally identifiable information, helps remove that data from brokers and public sources, and gives companies ongoing visibility into what has been found, removed, and what reappears over time.
They sell into organizations where privacy, cybersecurity, executive protection, legal risk, and employee safety matter. This includes law firms, corporate security teams, executive-protection firms, cyber-insurance providers, benefits brokers, PEOs, and enterprise organizations.
About the Role
This is a Founding Account Executive role and the company's first dedicated revenue hire.
This is not a role where you inherit a large sales team, SDR team, or marketing engine. This is for a proven seller who can self-source pipeline, open doors, run complex sales cycles, and close revenue.
You will work directly with the founder and leadership team, help build the sales motion, close the first major wave of enterprise and channel deals, and create the playbook for the future sales team.
For the right person, this role has a clear path into sales leadership and potentially a future CRO-level opportunity based on results.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to procurement, legal, and close
- Build your own pipeline through outbound, warm introductions, existing relationships, events, and channel partners
- Open named target accounts quickly using your existing network
- Sell into buyers across Security, Legal, HR, Benefits, Executive Protection, and Corporate Risk
- Target direct enterprise opportunities, law firms, executive-protection firms, cyber-insurance carriers, benefits brokers, PEOs, and channel partners
- Work closely with the founder on early deals, then take full ownership of the sales process
- Help document what works so the company can build a repeatable sales playbook
- Bring real market feedback into the business from buyers, partners, and prospects
What We're Looking For
- 7 to 12 years of B2B sales experience
- Proven success as a top-performing individual contributor
- Experience selling into cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, digital risk, HR tech, compliance, cyber insurance, enterprise SaaS, or a related space
- Strong ability to self-source pipeline without relying on SDRs or marketing
- Experience selling to senior decision-makers such as CISOs, CIOs, General Counsel, COOs, CHROs, corporate security leaders, legal teams, or HR/benefits leaders
- A strong network in cybersecurity, law firms, executive protection, family offices, benefits, insurance, or enterprise risk is a major asset
- Proven ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Comfortable selling remotely and managing your own day without heavy oversight
- Strong track record of quota achievement, President's Club, top rep rankings, or documented sales success
- Builder mindset with leadership ambition, but still willing to personally do the selling
Compensation
- Base Salary: $130K to $155K max
- Target OTE: $260K to $310K+
- Commission: Uncapped, with accelerators above quota
- Equity: Meaningful equity package available
