Fiber & Electrical Material Distribution | USA | Performance-Based Compensation
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading multi-division infrastructure organization with nationwide operations. This role is focused on their fiber and electrical material distribution division, supplying fiber line hardware, conduit, electrical wire, fittings, handholes, and related broadband infrastructure materials.
This is a high-impact leadership position—designed for top-performing sales professionals. The mandate is clear: drive revenue, protect margins, and expand strategic accounts across the fiber distribution ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver $10M–$25M+ in annual revenue production
- Build and strengthen relationships with ISPs, broadband providers, utilities, and contractors
- Manage gross margin performance with disciplined pricing and strategic selling
- Identify and close net-new opportunities in a competitive distribution market
- Act as a senior industry advisor rather than a transactional salesperson
Ideal Candidate
- 5–10+ years of experience in fiber/material distribution sales
- Active, portable book of business
- Proven gross margin accountability
- Deep understanding of ISP sales cycles
- Hunter mentality with long-term relational focus
Compensation & Performance
- Base: $100K–$200K+ (based on experience)
- Commission: 5–8% of Gross Profit
- Top performers earn $200K–$500K+ annually
- Example: $20M revenue at 20% gross margin $4M GP 7% commission = $280K + base
