About the Role

The Accounts Manager will play a key role in overseeing client portfolios, managing a team of accountants, and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring timely delivery of accounting and financial reporting services.
• Oversee preparation and review of management accounts, financial statements, and tax/VAT submissions.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAPSME, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
• Assist with business planning, budgeting, and financial analysis for client companies.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 46 years experience in accounting, ideally within a CSP, corporate services, or audit environment.
• Strong knowledge of Maltese tax and VAT legislation.
• Previous experience managing and mentoring a team.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills and client-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
