About the Role

Our client, supported by R77 Elite Talent, is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their growing investment management team in Malta. The successful candidate will oversee diverse client portfolios, develop tailored investment strategies, and deliver strong, long-term returns.

This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, client-focused, and fluent in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow client investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with their financial goals.
• Conduct in-depth market and risk analysis to identify investment opportunities.
• Develop and implement bespoke investment strategies based on client profiles.
• Monitor portfolio performance, adjusting allocations as required.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and guidance in German and English.
• Stay ahead of global market trends and economic developments to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine investment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare and present performance reports and recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (Masters preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in portfolio or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, and risk management principles.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving consistent returns.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong client relationship management capabilities.
• Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools and MS Office.
• Ability to relocate to Malta (relocation support provided).
