Senior Advisor Corporate Finance & Transactions

What youll do

  • Build decision-grade models: Design robust three-statement and scenario models to pressure-test strategies, feasibility studies, and investment cases.
  • Value businesses with rigour: Apply accepted valuation methodologies (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions) and challenge assumptions with evidence.
  • Support transactions: Contribute across the deal cycleoption analysis, structuring, financial due diligence workstreamsand prepare crisp committee materials.
  • Craft investor-ready docs: Produce clear business plans, feasibility papers, and funding proposals that withstand lender and investor scrutiny.
  • Funding strategy & execution: Map suitable instruments (debt, equity, grants) and guide clients from outreach through term sheet and closing.
  • Financial stewardship: Design and monitor budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and practical financial controls aligned to the operating reality.
  • Tell the story with numbers: Create concise reports and board-level presentations that distil complex analysis into tangible recommendations.
  • Collaborate across disciplines: Work with colleagues in complementary lines (tax, compliance, operations, tech) to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions.

What you bring

  • Education: Degree-equivalent MQF Level 6+ in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Economics, or Management. CFA (or progress towards it) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Background in financial advisory / corporate finance / transaction support (Big 4 or boutique welcome).
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder skills and the ability to translate analysis into decisions.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in Maltese and English.
  • Toolset: Advanced Excel for modelling, sharp PowerPoint storytelling, and strong Word drafting.
  • Mindset: Proactive, analytical, detail-accurate; comfortable working independently and as part of a tight, delivery-focused team.
  • Writing: Strong report-writing with a clean, structured style.
