Junior IT Support Technician
Job Description:
R77 is hiring on behalf of one of our HR consulting clients, a growing tech-focused business seeking a Junior IT Support Technician to strengthen their internal support team. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on IT support experience who's keen to develop in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver first-line support for desktops, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
- Assist in managing backup and disaster recovery systems (e.g., Acronis).
- Provide basic support for network components such as routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Troubleshoot remote access issues (VPN, Terminal Services).
- Monitor and respond to system alerts via remote management tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation within PSA/ticketing platforms.
- Keep users informed about incidents, changes, and resolutions in a clear and timely manner.
What We're Looking For:

At least 1 year of experience in an IT support/helpdesk environment.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and basic networking principles.

Understanding of backup tools and remote connectivity.

Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider technical team.
Desirable:

Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification.

CompTIA A+ or similar qualification.

Experience with hardware support and customer-facing environments.
