Accounting Assistant

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out bookkeeping and general accounting duties for a portfolio of clients.

  • Liaising with clients and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and files for audit.

  • Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other statutory declarations.

  • Assisting in the preparation of payroll documentation.

Requirements

  • Currently studying towards ACCA or holding an O Level qualification in accountancy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Proficiency in common office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

  • Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
