We are looking for a driven and detail‑oriented Legal & Corporate Governance Lead to support our growing RCX operations. The role focuses on contract management, legal risk mitigation, governance, and cross‑functional legal support within a fast‑paced BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and terminations.
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal governance policies.
  • Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, clauses, and playbooks aligned with corporate risk appetite.
  • Monitor contractual obligations, SLAs, penalties, milestones, and renewal timelines to ensure compliance and timely action.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks across all business agreements.
  • Escalate high‑risk clauses or deviations to the Legal & Corporate Governance Senior Manager with clear recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and laws (e.g., CBE, NTRA, data protection, labor law).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required legal documentation and compliance evidence.
  • Support the Legal & Corporate Governance Senior Manager in day‑to‑day legal operations.
  • Track legal requests, turnaround times, and workload priorities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel when required and manage related documentation and follow‑ups.
  • Maintain an organized legal repository for contracts, approvals, legal opinions, and correspondence.
  • Act as a key point of contact between the Legal function and internal stakeholders (Operations, Account Management, Finance, Procurement, IT).
  • Provide legal and contractual guidance during negotiations and client discussions.
  • Translate legal requirements and risks into clear, business‑friendly guidance for non‑legal stakeholders.
  • Prepare periodic management reports covering contract status, risks, renewals, disputes, and compliance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support informed decision‑making.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in legal, contracts, or corporate governance roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (English Section preferred but not mandatory).
  • English proficiency: B2 or above.
  • Experience in the BPO or services industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment.
