Hygienist

Position: Hygienist

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a full-time Hygienist working 4 days a week. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing top-quality care to our patients. As a Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral exams

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper dental care techniques

- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants

- Identify and document any abnormalities or concerns in patients' oral health

- Assist the dentist in various procedures, such as fillings and extractions

- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans

- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and attend continuing education courses as required

Requirements:

- Active state dental hygiene license

- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using dental software and technology

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work well in a team and independently

- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
