Hygienist

Position: Hygienist

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Hygienist to join our client's dental practice. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. 4 day a week work week.

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques

- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed

- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans

- Assist the dentist with procedures as needed

- Follow infection control and safety protocols

- Continuously update knowledge and skills through continuing education courses

Qualifications:

- Valid state hygiene license

-- Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and techniques

- Strong communication and patient education skills

- Knowledge of dental software and digital x-rays

- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other dental professionals

- Excellent time management and organizational skills
