Associate Dentist

Job description:

We are a dentist recruiting company working with a very reputable private office that is seeking a full time dentist to work Mondays through Fridays. The office is focused on Holistic Dentistry. They are needing a dentist who can do bread and butter restorative procedures and who has at least 3 years of experience.

The office is growing and moving to a state of the art and larger space soon. They have a great team of 3 assistants and 3 hygienists.  They are approximately 60% PPOS and 40% FFS. No capitation or Medicaid accepted.

Associate Dentist Responsibilities:

• Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
• Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
• Providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
• Administering local anesthesia to patients as needed.
• Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
• Performing oral cancer screenings.
• Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
• Ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
• Taking impressions of patients mouths for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and dentures.

Associate Dentist Requirements:

• Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or doctor of medicine in dentistry (DMD).
• State license to practice dentistry.
• 3 yrs or more of experience
• Mondays-Fridays schedule

Salary and Benefits:

• Daily guarantee of $700
• 33% of collections
• CE stipend of 2K per year
• 401 K
• Opportunity to earn between 150K to 200K per year
