Hygienist

Position: Hygienist

Job Summary:

As a Hygienist you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional oral healthcare to our patients. You will work closely with our team of dentists and support staff to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care. Your main responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting oral exams, taking X-rays, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

$ 42.00 hr based on experience with uncapped daily bonus based on production

Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing

Conduct comprehensive oral exams and screenings

Take and develop X-rays

Administer local anesthetic and apply fluoride treatments

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Assist dentists with various procedures as needed

Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols

Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience

Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technology

Qualifications:

Valid state hygiene license

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Hygienist

Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team environment

Detail-oriented and organized

Proficient in using dental software and technology

Ability to educate and motivate patients to maintain good oral health
