Position: Hygienist

Contract Details: Full time, permanent 4 days a week

Pay discussed at interview based on experience.

As a Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with our team of dentists and support staff to ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment and leave our practice with a healthy and happy smile.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough and efficient dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments

- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care

- Assist dentists with various procedures, including applying sealants and administering local anesthesia

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

- Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment

- Continuously stay updated on industry advancements and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements:

- Valid state hygiene license

- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and protocols

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care

- Proficiency in using dental software and technology

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
