Manufacturing Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer will spend a significant portion of their time on the shop floor, working closely with production teams to:

Analyze and improve existing processes related to the fabrication of permanent magnets and magnet assemblies, focusing on quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to ensure smooth operations.

Identify, design, and implement new fabrication and assembly processes to enhance performance.

Develop and document procedures and work instructions in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

Perform other engineering tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:

2-5 years of manufacturing experience, with hands-on experience in assembly and basic machining processes, including CNC grinding, surface grinding, OD grinding, and wire EDM.

Experience working with small, high-precision parts with tolerances as tight as +/-0.0005.

Familiarity with rare earth permanent magnets or materials with similar properties (e.g., ceramics and ferrites) is highly desirable.

Experience with spray coating processes is a plus.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex engineering challenges clearly to diverse teams (customers, management, shop operators).
