Upstream System Engineer (Upstream SE) for system development

The candidate will be stationed at/visit major Japanese companies and communicate directly with customers to promote basic and detailed design work. After design, communicate specifications to the project team in Vietnam, manage project promotion, and connect to offshore development.
Review and inspect deliverables prior to client release and address post-release defects.

Industry Knowledge/Experience

You must have at least 3 years of experience in system development as a system engineer. *Open systems or general-purpose systems

• Experience related to construction/building companies.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, especially IT-related knowledge used in the
  building and construction industry.
• Experience with architectural CAD, BIM tools, etc.
• Experience in basic or detailed design.

• English language skills (business level)
• Experience in IT industry
• Experience with software commonly used in construction and architecture (Revit,
  ArchiCad, Solibri, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Knowledge of BIM
• Knowledge of smart cities
• Experience in offshore development
• Knowledge of the client's industry and business knowledge.
• Experience in project management as a leader and experience in training and
  mentoring younger staff.

Required language and educational background

• No English proficiency required *Official language in the company is Japanese
• Academic background is not required.
