Key Responsibilities:

Facility Setup and Management:

  • Lead the design and layout of the new MRO facility to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Oversee the procurement and installation of necessary equipment and tools.
  • Coordinate with construction teams and contractors to ensure timely completion of the facility
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure the new MRO facility complies with all relevant aviation regulations and standards (e.g., FAA, EASA).
  • Develop and implement quality control and safety procedures in line with industry standards.

Process Development:

  • Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Implement best practices for engine inspection, repair, and overhaul to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Team Building and Training:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of skilled technicians and support staff.
  • Develop training programs to ensure all personnel are up-to-date with the latest industry practices and technologies.

Project Management:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for the MRO setup.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, and customers.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress and status of the MRO setup.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in aero engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
  • Proven experience in setting up or managing MRO facilities.

Language Requirement:

  • Bilingual English and Japanese (N3 and above)
