Business Consultant Procurement
About the job Business Consultant Procurement
- Supporting customers' ERP application implementation (procurement)
- Perform business process analysis and mapping to identify gaps and improvements.
- Work closely with end users, understand their requirements and challenges, and collaborate with teams to design solutions.
- Collaborate with business users to identify and prioritize new requirements and customization opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, to seamlessly integrate ERP solutions into existing workflows.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of data within the ERP system and collaborate with relevant teams for data maintenance.
- Participate/conduct review meetings and discussions.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, supply chain management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a business consultant or similar work experience with a focus on procurement and ERP implementation
- Possess a functional and operational understanding of the procurement area (outsourcing, supplier qualification management, supplier portal, purchasing, self-service).
- Experience in discussing business processes with business users regarding end-to-end procurement processes.
- Must have a basic understanding of ERP systems and be willing to learn modules specific to procurement and acquire specialized knowledge.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams on project outcomes and delivery.
Required skills:
- Business level Japanese ability (speaking, reading, writing)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address requirements and challenges during ERP implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of final product and no oversights.
- Be self-motivated, dedicated and customer focused.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to ERP SCM module.
- Welcome skills/qualifications:
- Business communication skills in English
- Consulting and implementation experience for customers in major manufacturing, high-tech manufacturing, and automotive industries
- Experience/qualification in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, Baan, Infor, JDE, etc.
- Experience in procurement operations, inventory management, cost accounting, manufacturing, supply and demand planning, and warehouse management systems.
