The Company

Our client is a global strategy and management consulting firm working with tier-one companies across aerospace, defence, transportation, energy, and complex infrastructure. With offices across Australia, Europe, and North America, they help technology-intensive businesses solve high-impact operational and strategic challenges.

As part of their growth journey in Australia, this consulting firm is now seeking a Principal to co-lead local expansion someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent delivery skills, and a genuine passion for developing people and practices.

The Role

You will play a hybrid role focused on project delivery, client engagement, and business development. This includes owning major project workstreams, coaching consultants, and developing long-term client relationships all while helping build the business locally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting projects across operational excellence, strategy, and transformation
• Act as a senior contact for clients and ensure consistent high-quality outcomes
• Lead business development efforts and commercial proposals
• Build and mentor high-performing teams
• Contribute to internal initiatives in training, knowledge, or marketing

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years' experience in management consulting
• Strong background in industrial sectors (aerospace, defence, energy, infra, etc.)
• Proven ability to win work, manage teams, and influence C-suite stakeholders
• Bachelor's or Masters in Engineering, Business, or related field
• Collaborative, hands-on, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Willingness to travel interstate as needed
