Working in partnership with the NSW Government, they are part of a large consortium who is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney. All private sector partners of this consortium are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for western Sydney.
About the Role
Reporting to the Program Manager, the primary purpose of the role is to lead the planning, preparation, implementation and monitoring of the integrated civil works and rail systems project time schedule using Primavera software.
Responsibilities
- Detailed planning and composition of the O&M readiness program, measuring progress, preparation of progress reports, critical path analysis and determining delay recovery measures.
- Preparation of a comprehensive overall project time schedule
- Migration of the current program from MS Project to P6
- Preparation of comprehensive monthly progress reports for the client, e.g. time schedule deviation analysis, MTAs, S-curves, variance report, critical path report, resources, etc.
- Controlling to meet target dates in the different technical disciplines in conjunction with consortium partners and develop mitigation and acceleration measures
About You
- Min. 3 years' experience in project planning & scheduling
- Exposure to large Infrastructure projects highly regarded
- Full proficiency in P6
- Experience in measuring progress against the schedule, preparation of progress reports and related submissions to meet contractual requirements
- Knowledgeable of project management principles for project execution advantageous
- Tertiary degree in Engineering or Project Management or relevant fields
