About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Project Manager for NSW Region will be responsible for overseeing and managing the mobilisation and set-up of construction sites, manpower scheduling, and plant and equipment scheduling. The PM will work closely with the national operations team to coordinate and resource the region's projects, ensuring their safe and successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead site activities for allocated projects, and effectively deliver works on time, on budget and within design, commercial, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Work with the national operations team in coordination and resourcing of the southern region's projects.
- Collaborate closely with the regional design team in assessing and interpreting ground improvement drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate resources, procurement, and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
- Manage links between projects and monitor overall time, costs, quality, budget, and risk.
- Negotiate with stakeholders throughout the construction process and project lifecycle.
- Together with the Regional Manager, QSE Manager, and HR Manager, manage and monitor adherence to legislation and standards of performance and safety.
About You
- Min 7 years experience of technical and operational experience within the geotechnical engineering field.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in Ground Improvement, with a proven track record in managing complex projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Experience across geotechnical techniques, including lateral support, soil mixing, grouting, CFA, and dynamic compaction highly regarded
