Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (English/Spanish)

Reclatam is hiring a Bilingual Immigration Paralegal on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing law firm that focuses on Latin American political asylum and immigration cases.

About the Role:

As a paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting clients through their immigration process. You will be responsible for managing case files, preparing legal documents, and communicating directly with clients most often in Spanish to ensure accurate and timely submission of paperwork. You will also assist attorneys in case preparation, including translations, court filings, and document collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage immigration and asylum cases from intake through resolution
  • Work directly with clients to oversee case progress and documentation
  • Prepare and file immigration forms, motions, briefs, and supporting evidence
  • Handle EOIR filings and court-related submissions

  • Use ECAS and other immigration portals to track case statuses and submit documentation
  • Communicate with Immigration Courts, DHS, and government agencies regarding case updates and deadlines
  • Interpret and translate during attorney consultations and case preparation
  • Collect, organize, and maintain legal documents and evidence packages
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical case files

  • Track court deadlines, hearing dates, and filing requirements
  • Provide ongoing client support and respond to case-related inquiries

What Were Looking For

  • Fluent English and Spanish (required)

  • Strong experience with immigration law and political asylum cases
  • Hands-on experience working with EOIR systems, ECAS platforms, and court communications
  • Prior experience preparing motions, applications, and court filings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High computer literacy and familiarity with legal case management systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, bilingual environment
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience
