We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law - Litigation Paralegal to join our client's team in Maryland (remotely). Our client is a well-established family law firm that is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to their clients. As a Family Law - Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys in all aspects of family law litigation, including preparing legal documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

- Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining documents, correspondence, and evidence.

- Conduct legal research using various resources, such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, to support attorneys in case preparation.

- Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties involved in the case to gather information and provide updates.

- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and coordinating with experts.

- Attend court hearings and trials with attorneys and take notes.

- Prepare and maintain billing records and assist with managing client accounts.

- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations related to family law and inform attorneys of any updates.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law - Litigation Paralegal.

- Strong understanding of family law and litigation procedures.

- Proficiency in legal research and using legal databases.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and legal software.

- Familiarity with Maryland court rules and procedures is a plus.
