Job Title: Director of Nursing - Surgical Services

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Salary Range: $126,000 to $155,000 Annually

Sign-On Bonus/Relocation: $15,000

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing for our Surgical Services department. This leadership role is pivotal in steering the department's activities and resources towards achieving our overarching organizational goals. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, leveraging their expertise as an experienced Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the operations of 9 Operating Rooms (OR) and 2 Endoscopy Suites at the main hospital, along with 4 OR and 2 Endoscopy Suites at our outpatient surgery center.
• Manage a direct report of 3 Managers, overseeing a total full-time equivalent staff (FTEs) of 60 at the main hospital and 25 at the Outpatient Surgery center.
• Ensure the successful completion of approximately 4,346 procedures annually, maintaining high standards of care and efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance departmental performance, patient satisfaction, and staff development.
• Collaborate with other department heads and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care services.

Must-Have Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a closely related field.
2. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire.
3. Valid Arizona State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
4. Minimum of 5 years' experience managing over 15 OR suites, with at least 3 years in a directorial capacity within the OR department of a critical care hospital.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Over 5 years of experience in upper management roles within a critical care hospital setting.
