Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, conduct high-quality CT scans and radiography, adhering to radiation and physical safety protocols. Accurately position patients and employ precise exposure techniques. Demonstrate compassion and attentiveness to patient needs through effective communication, assessment, monitoring, and care provision. Exercise independent, ethical judgment and critical thinking.

Salary: $83,000 to $101,000

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certification and current registration as a Registered Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Possession of a current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license for Radiography.
  • Certification and current registration for CT from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), along with a current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license for CT, or enrollment in our hospital CT training program.
  • Completion of BLS certification within 3 months of hire and maintenance of current certification.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collect patient data and document procedures accurately.
  • Conduct CT and radiography procedures with precision.
  • Administer contrast agents when required.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and professionalism consistently.
  • Manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Utilize electronic medical records software proficiently.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Exhibit creativity, problem-solving abilities, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
