Job Description

Position Summary:

Join our team at a 39-bed Joint Commission Accredited facility as a Medical Lab Tech / Medical Technologist. In this role, you'll perform laboratory testing and collaborate with our Laboratory Director, Pathologists, and Technologists to provide prompt and accurate testing for our patients and surrounding community. This is a full-time position with night shifts from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, working 7 nights on / 7 nights off.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $43,600 to $58,800
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Essential Duties:

• Collect specimens for laboratory examination using various techniques.
• Adhere to OSHA, CLIA, and Joint Commission regulations.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Respond immediately to codes, traumas, and emergencies.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring quality control.
• Maintain accurate records, including patient results and specimen accessioning.
• Report STAT results promptly, perform manual tests as needed, and set up bacteria cultures.

Must-Haves:

1. Medical Lab Tech certification required.
2. Associates in Clinical Lab Science.
3. Hospital experience preferred.
