What You'll Do:
- Based out of our Benicia, CA service center, you'll conduct fieldwork with daily local travel in a company vehicle.
- Opportunity for overtime, weekends, and potential travel.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and/or oil-free air compressors.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures both at the shop and customer locations, and manage necessary repairs.
- Work independently or collaboratively with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at various sites.
Your Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma/GED
- 4-6 years of experience working on HVAC equipment, conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairing power generators.
- Proficiency in calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, as well as reading and interpreting schematics.
- Depending on customer requirements, may need to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card.
- Ability to move or lift objects, typically weighing less than 50 lbs.
- Valid drivers license.
