Schedule: Thursday - Sunday, 9:00 pm - 7:30 am

Must-Haves:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
2. Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
3. Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
4. Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiography (x-ray) exams on patients while ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams, obtain vital signs, administer IV and contrast when necessary, and position patients for the procedure.
• Enter and monitor patient data and perform quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Assist with accreditation applications and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions.
• Take emergency call within the department and may be required to work weekends or float to other locations.
• Administer breath alcohol tests and/or urine drug screens if needed.
• Perform patient registration tasks such as verifying insurance and collecting payments if required.
• Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to all organizational policies and standards.
• Promote professional growth and development by meeting education and competency requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
