Our client is seeking a qualified and motivated Motor Mechanic (General) to join their team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties & Responsibilities
As a Motor Mechanic (General), your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles
- Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing on a wide range of vehicles
- Performing mechanical inspections and reporting on vehicle condition
- Using computerized diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify issues
- Replacing or repairing faulty parts and components with precision
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Ensuring compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations
- Providing high-quality customer service with clear and professional communication
- Staying updated with the latest automotive technologies, repair methods, and industry standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or similar qualifications, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Current valid drivers license
SALARY: $75,000 - $95,000 PER ANNUM
