Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician (General) to join our client, a growing electrical team servicing the Yorke Peninsula region. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and customer-focused, capable of delivering high-quality work across various residential, commercial, and rural projects. This is a full-time opportunity with long-term career prospects for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works in residential, commercial, and rural settings.
• Install and troubleshoot switchboards, power points, lighting, data cabling, and other electrical systems.
• Complete fault finding, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations in line with safety standards.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and uphold the professional reputation of the business on all jobs.
• Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and relevant safety protocols at all times.
• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, communicating effectively with clients and coworkers.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and compliance documentation.
• Travel to client locations across the Yorke Peninsula including Brentwood, Corny Point, Foul Bay, and Hardwick as required.

Skills & Experience Required

• Qualifications: Trade-qualified electrician with a current SA Electrical License.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in general electrical work across residential and commercial sectors.
• Customer Service: Friendly, reliable, and able to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Technical Expertise: Skilled in electrical fault diagnosis, data and networking cabling, and working in varied site conditions.
• Compliance & Safety: Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and Australian compliance standards.
• Work Ethic: Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Transport: Valid Australian driver's license
