CHEF ITALIAN CUISINE SPECIALIST

We are seeking a passionate and talented Chef specialising in Italian cuisine. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional who takes pride in authentic Italian flavours, traditional cooking methods, and modern presentation.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes, including pasta, risotto, antipasti, pizzas, and regional specialties.

Design, plan and update seasonal menus with a focus on authentic Italian flavours and fresh, local produce.

Ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency across all dishes.

Oversee kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and stock control.

Train, supervise and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Monitor supply levels, order ingredients, and liaise with suppliers to ensure freshness and cost control.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef specialising in Italian cuisine (minimum 3 years).

Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional dishes.

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (or eligibility to obtain).

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.
