Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership & Service Delivery:

  • Provide clinical supervision and consultations to maintain high rehab standards
  • Implement evidence-based practices through guidelines, protocols, and equipment selection
  • Deliver direct clinical services to a diverse patient population
  • Oversee rehab team coordination to maximize efficiency and ensure quality care

Operational & Administrative Oversight:

  • Monitor post-audit improvements and follow-up on corrective measures
  • Manage equipment procurement, allocation, maintenance, and inventory
  • Assist in staff scheduling and caseload distribution
  • Lead team meetings focused on enhancing rehab service quality
  • Evaluate junior staff performance and provide mentorship
  • Conduct incident investigations and reporting

Training, Research & Professional Development:

  • Develop initiatives to improve efficiency and workplace safety
  • Oversee individual staff training plans and competency assessments
  • Organize drills, audits, and skill enhancement programs
  • Coordinate in-service training, research activities, and developmental projects
  • Foster specialized expertise among staff and build leadership succession pipelines

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Therapy (recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council)
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Speech Therapist in a community setting
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective leadership, management, and problem-solving skills
