Calibration Technician

Role: Calibration Technician 

On-Site: Farmingdale, New Jersey

Salary: $20 - $30 an hour

Recruiting Heroes is looking for a highly motivated Calibration Technician to join our client in Farmingdale, New Jersey. Our client is a full-service company that specializes in the purchase, lease, sale, repair and calibration of a wide variety of test and measurement equipment.

Essential responsibilities and duties include:

• Apply knowledge of electronics, mathematics, and measurement science to calibrate electrical, optical, and RF test and measurement instrumentation.
• Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
• Perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems
• Adapt equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements
• Maintain calibration standards
• Post-sale, expert-level support services
• Will perform these functions within a laboratory setting
• Other duties as assigned

• Associates Degree college or technical school plus 3+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Formal training in Metrology, such as the Precision Measurement Equipment Course (PMEL) or TMDE gained through the military is highly desirable
