Salary: $24- $30 an hour

Recruiting Heroes is looking for hard-working and motivated individuals for the position of Electrical Assembler for a role in Ashburn, Virginia. This is a full-time, permanent position for an experienced electrical assembler who is meticulous and self-motivated. Responsibilities would include fabricating electrical parts; reading, interpreting, and following electrical drawings; and keeping a clean, inventoried work station. Candidate also needs to be able to use basic power tools, perform quality control checks, and implement repetitive, detailed procedures.

Duties:

Read, interpret, and follow engineering/electrical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials

Operate power and hand tools

Assemble electrical parts with quick dexterity

Test and calibrate assembled parts

Complete quality work checks for accuracy

Identify and document any component part defects

Maintain a well organized work station

Inventory parts at work station

Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or provide openings for wires

Create parts, coils, or structures according to specifications using drills, calipers, cutters, or saws

Adjust, repair, or replace electrical components to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications

Required Skills:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or technical school preferred

Able to regularly lift 30-50 pounds

Team focused and goal oriented

Well organized and able to handle simultaneous and multiple projects

Adept at repetitive tasks

Read, interpret, and follow engineering/mechanical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials

Operate power and hand tools

Assemble mechanical parts with quick dexterity

Test and calibrate assembled parts

Sand and paint parts where necessary

Clean and polish finished assemblies
