Salary: $150,000+ (Based on Experience

Recruiting Heroes is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Tax Director for our client, a leading Accounting firm in Wakefield, MA.  This position oversees the firms tax policies and objectives; monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes; ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the organization's tax obligations; creates functional strategies and specific objectives; and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

Provide tax planning and compliance services for high net worth individuals, estates and trusts

Conduct multi-state tax filings

Perform tax accruals

Manage a portfolio of clients

Serve as a trusted advisor, offering clients industry expertise and knowledge

Work closely with engagement teams to continually add value to clients

Train and mentor tax associates

Qualifications include:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills

8-10 years' experience (High net worth)

Strong research and analytical skills

Prior experience with ProSystem fx Tax, BNA products, and CCH Intelliconnect is desired

CPA certification is required
