Backend Engineer with experience in Google Cloud Services [LATAM only]

Our client, a Silicon Valley-based AI-focused startup is looking for a Backend Engineer focused on building scalable solutions on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Firebase, Firestore, App Engine, Vertex AI). Hands-on experience and a willingness to learn are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build AI pipelines for multimodal clinical data

• Develop scalable, secure external APIs

• Design core AI platform architecture

• Process images, video, and AI reports at scale

• Drive key technical decisions

What We’re Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Python

• Scalable API development (FastAPI)

• Google Cloud AI stack (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Firebase, Firestore)

• Backend security (auth & access control)

• Testing and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)

• JavaScript / TypeScript
