Position Overview
The E-commerce Specialist plays a key role in driving the company's online growth by managing and optimizing product visibility, pricing, and sales performance across multiple e-commerce platforms. The role oversees listings, promotions, and digital merchandising for household product categories, ensuring seamless coordination between marketing, warehouse, and finance teams.
This position acts as the bridge between day-to-day e-commerce operations and strategic sales planning, supporting the Team Leader in implementing digital initiatives that strengthen the company's online market presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic E-commerce Operations
- Manage end-to-end online product operations across all major e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Noon, Carrefour, and the company website).
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance online visibility, conversion rates, and overall sales.
- Analyze platform algorithms, traffic patterns, and consumer behavior to optimize listings and campaigns.
2. Content & Merchandising Management
- Oversee the creation and optimization of product content, ensuring high-quality images, SEO-friendly descriptions, and accurate product data.
- Plan and manage online merchandising layouts and category arrangements to improve user experience and product discoverability.
- Ensure product content adheres to brand standards and marketing guidelines.
3. Promotion & Campaign Strategy
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design, implement, and monitor digital campaigns and promotional activities.
- Plan seasonal offers, bundle deals, and pricing strategies to maximize sales performance.
- Track and analyze campaign outcomes, providing actionable insights and recommendations to the Team Leader.
4. Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare detailed reports on sales, conversion rates, ROI, and inventory movement.
- Identify underperforming SKUs and propose corrective actions to improve profitability.
- Monitor competitor pricing, product trends, and category performance to support strategic decision-making.
5. Coordination & Team Support
- Guide and support E-commerce Assistants in executing daily operational tasks and maintaining platform accuracy.
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment.
- Communicate performance updates, insights, and operational challenges to the Team Leader.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, or E-commerce.
- 4-6 years of experience in e-commerce operations, ideally within trading or retail (household products experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of major online marketplaces (Amazon, Noon, Carrefour, etc.) and e-commerce CMS platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis; experience with analytics dashboards or BI tools is an advantage.
- Proven ability to plan and execute promotional campaigns and sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-departmental coordination skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and focus on results.
