Job Summary:

The General Manager is the heartbeat of the venue, ensuring the seamless operation of all facets of the business. This role demands a dynamic, charismatic leader who is passionate about creating extraordinary guest experiences while driving profitability and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the hospitality industry, with a deep understanding of live entertainment operations, modern dining, and innovative cocktail trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professionalism. Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, food quality, and beverage offerings. Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and P&L statements. Implement strategies to maximize revenues and control expenses, driving profitability.
  • Marketing and Events: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the venue and its events. Plan and execute a variety of live entertainment offerings, managing bookings and logistics to enhance the guest experience and venue reputation.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and health and safety standards. Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff at all times.
  • Guest Experience: Champion a guest-first approach, resolving any issues with the highest level of service and professionalism. Gather feedback and implement improvements to continually elevate the guest experience.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends in live entertainment, dining, and mixology. Implement innovative ideas and practices to keep the venue at the forefront of the entertainment and hospitality industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a high-volume live entertainment venue, restaurant, or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional operational and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, artists, and team members.
  • Knowledge of current trends in live entertainment, modern cuisine, and mixology.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the entertainment schedule.
  • Current experience in Bahrain is required
