Our client is a multinational company specialized in the manufacturing of sanitary and bathroom ware. Their headquarters in the middle east is in Dubai, UAE. Currently, they are looking for a Specification Engineer to join their team in KSA, preferably a Saudi national.

Position Overview:

The Specification Engineer/Specialist is a pivotal role within the Commercial Middle East & Gulf department, responsible for orchestrating strategic initiatives to enhance the CRM platform's vitality in alignment with the commercial strategy. This role entails fostering collaborative dynamics with Sales Operations, executing tactical approaches in specifications, CRM, and Key Account Management (KAM) platforms, and maximizing project tendering visibility. A critical aspect of this role involves navigating the cultural nuances and market dynamics of KSA for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute seminars and educational sessions across various sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, education, retail, and government buildings.

- Monitor project potential and tendering volume to capitalize on opportunities effectively.

- Expand network with key pre-sales stakeholders including architects, designers, planners, developers, consultant engineers, project managers, and government influencers.

- Establish and maintain global and key account platforms, with a focus on hospitality, healthcare, retail, and government segments.

- Develop and update educational curriculum for architects, developers, and consultants.

- Foster relationships with major architectural and planning firms to stay informed about new projects and enhance tendering capabilities.

- Innovate and propose new approaches to potential accounts to increase penetration in specifications and KAM accounts.

- Maintain a high level of focus on CRM data management, segmented by market and large accounts.

- Cultivate high-level relationships with key consultants, designers, planners, architects, and developers across KSA.

- Organize local training, seminars, and conferences to transfer knowledge to architects, designers, and consultants.

- Achieve annual budget and targets to drive continuous market share growth across product categories and pre-sales/sales channels.

- Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times, serving as a brand ambassador in the territory.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Saudi female preferred, with a background in interior design/specifications.

- Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.

- Highly motivated by results with a natural inclination towards pre-sales.

- Proficiency in CRM programs, BIM applications, and KAM processes.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a competitive environment.

- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

- Bachelors degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, information systems engineering, architecture, or interior design.

- 3 to 5 years of experience in projects specifications and business development within the building materials/construction industry in the KSA market.
