About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead our ERP upgrade and implementation across our construction group and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring the solution meets our business objectives, is delivered on time and within budget, and is fully adopted by all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
- Lead the SAP S/4HANA upgrade/implementation project from planning through go-live and stabilization.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate internal teams and external SAP partners/consultants.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including executive sponsor, department leads, and external consultants.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide clear status updates to leadership.
Business Process Alignment:
- Work with business analysts and functional leads to gather requirements and ensure SAP S/4HANA is configured to support core construction and subsidiary processes.
- Oversee process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Risk & Change Management:
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead change management efforts, including user training, communications, and adoption strategies.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure rigorous testing, data migration, and validation processes.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet agreed-upon quality standards.
Post-Go-Live Support:
- Oversee transition to support teams and ensure a smooth handover.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization post-implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business, Business Computing, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of project management experience with experience in SAP and at least 1 full-cycle ERP implementation (preferably SAP S/4 Hana or alternatively, Oracle / Microsoft Navision)
Experience in the construction, engineering, or related industries is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and change management.
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
