The company offers an amazing culture and is driven by integrity, courage, and passion. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the team in Dubai, UAE.

Job Purpose:

Supporting the company Operations Scope (MEA). To facilitate, and administrate end-to-end supply chain activities, including demand planning, freight, warehousing, logistics, and product clearance. All in line with organization strategy as well as local market regulation. Work hand in hand with the sales team for ensuring the right S&OP is set in place. Work closely with the government affairs department to ensure alignment on market requirements and products registration and clearance requirements.

Demand Planning and S&OP

  • 12 months rolling shipments plan based on sales forecast, DOI targets, portfolio expansion plan, and product lead times
  • Overlook S&OP cycle for the region (UAE, KSA , KWT . LEB & JOR) with relevant stakeholders
  • Agree on Demand Plan
  • Submit volumes to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor and Manage company portfolio stocks in markets and propose ways to enhance efficiency and reduce cost through orders and stock management

Logistics:

  • Route to market; Identify full product logistical flow from the country of origin to country of destination, including freight, insurance, clearance, and handling
  • Determine the most cost-effective solutions for products transportation and logistics
  • Continuously work with freight forwarders to find the most efficient and effective route to market
  • Continuously identify cost improvement and efficiency solutions
  • Identify product customs clearance requirements as per market regulations and laws
  • Work with brokers and 3rd parties on products custom clearance
  • Follow up on each shipment's custom clearance and loading in the Warehouse

Warehouse management

  • Monitor inventory levels externally (3PL) and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Explore and find mid to long-term scenarios of internal warehousing, including space, WMS, storing conditions, licensing, and cost followed by warehouse management
  • Ensure integration of WMS with ERP software and Field Force software
  • Periodic reconciliation of physical stocks in the warehouse and field force vans, compared to software stocks and validated across month-starting stocks and IMS during any given period
  • Check and validate warehousing invoices from 3PL

Procurement

  • Manage procurement transactions
  • Manage and report procurement budget
  • Continuously revise and improve procurement practices
  • Support in proper utilization of ERP

Strategy & Budget

  • Directs and coordinates strategy, resource optimization, and profitability maximization
  • Leads the supply chain function in the market by executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Execute supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost
  • Support in overall organization supply chain activities
  • Plan, develop, manage and execute the annual SC Budget

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (Illustrative, not exhaustive):

Internal: Corporate Affairs, Sales, E-commerce, and Finance

External: 3PL, Logistics providers, Freight forwarders, Insurance providers, Brokers

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics
  • Certificates such as CPIM, PMP as a plus
  • 8+ years in the supply chain, logistics, and warehouse management
  • Experience in a distribution company or FMCG
  • Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel
  • ERP solutions
  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
