Position: Head of Engineering

Location: North Bangalore, India (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-time / Indefinite Contract

Position Overview:

As the Head of Engineering, you will lead and oversee all engineering activities, ensuring that project goals align with strategic objectives. You will manage a talented team of engineers and work closely with cross-functional departments to drive innovation and maintain the highest quality standards in aerospace engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead engineering teams in the design, development, and execution of aerospace projects.

- Establish engineering best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Oversee the development of technical specifications, requirements, and ensure alignment with project goals.

- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management) to facilitate seamless project execution.

- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

- Manage the engineering budget and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.

- Drive problem-solving initiatives and troubleshoot engineering challenges in the production process.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 12 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a strong track record of leadership.

- In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry regulations.

- Proven experience in project management and engineering team leadership.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation.
