Water Network Operatives – UK

We are recruiting experienced Water Network / Utilities Operatives for an established company delivering water infrastructure and utility works across the UK.

We are particularly interested in experienced candidates from South Africa, India and the Philippines who have practical experience working on water networks, pipelines or associated civil engineering works.

The role will include:

Installation, repair and maintenance of water mains and service pipes; laying and connecting water pipelines; excavation and reinstatement associated with water works; installation of valves, fittings and chambers; identification and repair of leaks and damaged pipework; working safely around existing underground services; reading site drawings and following instructions; and completing works to the required safety and quality standards.

Candidate requirements:

Candidates should have demonstrable experience in water utilities, pipeline installation, civil engineering or a closely related field. Experience with underground services and working safely on active sites is essential.

A valid driving licence and the ability to drive confidently is mandatory.

Candidates must have a good standard of spoken and written English and be capable of satisfying the English-language requirement applicable to the UK immigration route being used.

Relevant trade, utilities, plant or health and safety qualifications will be advantageous.
