Experienced Sewer / Drainage Operatives – UK

We are seeking experienced Sewer and Drainage Operatives to join a company undertaking utility and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Candidates should have strong practical experience in sewer installation, drainage systems, underground pipework and associated groundworks.

Typical duties will include:

Installing foul and storm-water drainage systems; laying and connecting underground sewer and drainage pipes; constructing and installing manholes, chambers and associated infrastructure; excavation, trench preparation, bedding and backfilling; repairing and maintaining existing drainage and sewer systems; identifying blockages or defects; working around underground utilities; and completing reinstatement works.

Experience with pipe lasers, levels, site plans, excavation equipment or other relevant plant would be advantageous.

Mandatory requirements: Previous practical sewer, drainage or underground utilities experience; a valid driving licence and ability to drive; and a good standard of English suitable for communicating safely on site and meeting the applicable immigration requirements.

Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and as part of a civil engineering/utilities team.
