WATER & SEWER OPERATIVES – NORTHERN IRELAND

We are currently recruiting experienced Water & Sewer Operatives for ongoing utility works in Northern Ireland.

We are interested in hearing from candidates with practical experience across water mains, sewer networks, excavation and underground utilities.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Water & Sewer Operations

• * HGV Licence – Class 1 or C1E desirable
• * Excavator accreditation with experience excavating roads and footpaths
• * Electrofusion and Butt Fusion accreditation and practical experience with polyethylene pipework

Water Experience

• * Laying new water mains and services, including polyethylene and ductile iron pipework
• * Repairing water pipes across materials including cast iron, PVC, asbestos cement, ductile iron and polyethylene
• * Experience working on services from approximately 15mm through to large trunk mains
• * Installing sluice valves, fire hydrants, meters and pressure reducing valves (PRVs)
• * Building manholes for water assets, including meters and strainers

Sewer Experience

• * Laying new PVC sewer connections
• * Repairing sewer networks including PVC, crockery, clay and polyethylene pipework
• * Electrofusion and Butt Fusion experience
• * Building manholes
• * Over-pumping drainage networks

Candidates do not necessarily need experience in every area. We are keen to hear from experienced utility operatives, water/sewer workers, excavator operators and groundworkers with relevant transferable skills.

Driving experience/licence is highly desirable.
