An outstanding opportunity exists for an accomplished Interior Design leader to join a highly regarded multidisciplinary design practice and lead the growth of its interiors division.
This strategic appointment will suit an experienced Senior Associate, Principal or emerging Director seeking a platform to influence business direction, drive growth and shape a market-leading interiors offering.
Our client is an established and respected design practice delivering complex, design-led projects across a diverse range of sectors, including Transport, Commercial, Energy, Entertainment, and f an b Hotels. With a strong reputation for design excellence, technical expertise and client service, the practice continues to secure high-profile projects across both public and private sectors.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will lead the interiors business, overseeing design quality, project delivery, team development and business growth.
This role offers the opportunity to build upon an established interiors capability while playing a key role in the broader strategic direction of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the interiors business nationally
- Drive business development, client engagement and market presence
- Secure new opportunities and build a sustainable pipeline of work
- Lead projects from concept through to delivery
- Mentor, develop and inspire a high-performing team
- Oversee project profitability, resourcing and operational performance
- Maintain excellence in design, documentation and technical delivery
- Contribute to the strategic growth and leadership of the practice
About You
You are a commercially astute design leader with a proven ability to deliver projects, build client relationships and contribute to business growth.
You will bring:
10+ years' experience in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline
Leadership experience within a design, architecture or multidisciplinary practice
Strong project experience across commercial, workplace, hospitality and/or residential sectors
Demonstrated success in winning work and developing long-term client relationships
Strong commercial awareness and project financial management skills
Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities
An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine passion for growing teams and businesses
